Now that the major GPI SEO project is over (GeoIP removed, no major changes in domains) we should explore SEO plugins that allow our editor to to customize meta data (beyond the excerpt) and increase their organic reach.

As mentioned in the idea https://planet4.greenpeace.org/idea/seo-meta-data-customisation-feature/ - GP France developed an SEO feature on their WP website slightly customising the YOAST SEO plugin https://yoast.com/ and apparently reaching intersting results in terms of organic ranking See Slides presented by GP France

Review should include:

• full functionality matrix
• security review according to our P4 process
• price and permissions model
• GO/NO Go recommendation from a technical Point of view
• gap analysis in case we need to customise it
• recommendation for one or more alternative in case of NO-Go on YOAST
