Description of the issue: This issue has become extremely frustrating, as
it continues to recur without a lasting resolution. Once again, the post
types on our site appear to have become unlinked or misaligned.

Currently, within the EN post types, we are seeing a FR post type
called "Histoire" being incorrectly linked. "Histoire" is the French
equivalent of the EN post type "Story", but it should not appear under the
EN structure.

On the FR side, the "Story" post type is appearing and is linked to the
EN "Story", which is incorrect. The correct behavior should be:

EN "Story" ⇄ FR "Histoire"

Right now, the EN "Story" is linked to FR "Story" (incorrect), and
FR "Histoire" is not properly linked to anything (also incorrect).

We urgently need a fix for this, and more importantly, a permanent solution
that prevents this from happening again.

Please treat this as high priority.
