Summary

The style of the Timeline Block is a bit outdated and frontend users are barely interacting with it. At the same time, NRO’s have an interest in a ‘timeline’ block - with some making their own versions and/or expressing to us that they have a need for a new timeline block with better UX/UI. We have designed a new version that should cover editors needs regarding this block.

Requirements

      Secondary Block for Overflow

• Provide an option to group the events into a secondary navigation block

      Event Organization & Grouping

• Events should be separated by the number of years
• Within each period, allow users to display the number of months/years or any key moment.

Backend Experience

• We will create another ticket for the Backend Experience. In principle, it won't be WYSIWYG, the information would have to be pulled from a Google Sheet Document, as it is right now.
