      Summary

When the Wordpress Native Quote Block is used, long quotes take a lot of space vertically (as the line spacing is bigger than the body text). The width is also reduced, causing sentences to break every 3 or 4 words, which is not ideal for the continuity of reading, just to mention one of the problematics this causes. The idea would be to apply CSS code to modify the original Wordpress "Quote Block", so that it fits the following requirements.

      Requirements

      • The Quote should occupy the same width as the body text
      • The Quote font should remain italic
      • The Quote font should be partially bigger that the body text, by 4 points at most
      • The Quote text should have the correspondent line spacing to it's font size.
      • Is it possible to add a big "quotation" symbol at the beginning, just like in the reference? Also, a closing  " " " would have to be added automatically at the end of the quote, if possible.
      • I think that the author of the quote can currently be placed at any side, we can keep that.
      • Add on the backend sidebar the following recommendation: "Try to keep your Quote short and concise, so that it stands out effectively"
      • Remove core block styles
