Summary

Our current process for authors to add a profile picture is quite cumbersome and counter-intuitive. Since all GP staff login through Google/Okta we could fetch avatars from their Google profile.

The plugin we use for login has a smaller counterpart plugin for avatars that seems to simplify the whole process.

Requirements

• Test the plugin to verify it works as expected.
• Verify that using the plugin is transparent for admin panel users.
• Ensure that it doesn't interfere with aliases.
• Set up any secrets needed through our normal secrets management process.
