HI all, one of our content editors in Norway noticed that some of the pages show random meta description when searched in google and she thinks that affects the CTR. For example the Home page on her screenshot shows a different meta description than what it is set in the page Excerpt and all of the /tag/ pages are showing random text picked up from the excerpt of the latest listed article. I see we have "Sitelinks searchbox" structured data implemented but when I test it, it presents different content than what I see in Google. I wonder where/how those rich results are being set if not through the schema script? I've tested multiple searches and I'm confused why every time the meta description of the home page is showing different text and not once I saw the Excerpt set for the home page? As to the tag pages I thought the tag description is set also as the excerpt too, or am I wrong?
