      Summary

Investigate the core Query loop block to assess whether or not we should transition to this block to replace the P4 Articles block.

      Requirements

      • Assess whether we could replicate the same current features of the Articles block with the Query loop block:
        • Should pull automatically the latest Posts
        • Should show by default 3 articles and offer the option to set the number of articles shown.
        • Users should be able to edit the "load more" button text
        • Users should be able to add a link to the CTA button instead of the "load more" button feature.
        • Users should be able to open the link in a new tab
        • Users should be able to select Tags or/and Post types to show specific articles
        • Users should be able to Ignore WP Categories
        • Users should be able to do a manual override by selecting Posts manually.
      • Assess whether we could replicate the same current and future UI of the Articles block (in the front end) with the Query loop block:
        • Have the same current layout and metadata information shown (image, title, description, Post type, Tags, Categories, author name, reading time, and date.
        • Show a list view and a grid view
        • Users should be able to select between a grid and a list view (from the back end).
        • See if we can use header and paragraph blocks that are native to WP.
