Wordpress 5.9 is being released at 25.01. Release Candidates are already deployed in the Gutenberg instance.
Tasks
- Check the field guide for new features and breaking changes (not published yet)
- Check dev-notes posts for new features and breaking changes. (Check #p4-dev-feeds for a better way to parse them.
- Check our native blocks overrides for any breaking changes.
- Create follow up tickets if needed for actual code changes.
- At the end create the actual upgrade ticket.
