This is a science report page with a P4 form linked to an EN petition page with the exact same fields. It has mandatory fields for email, first name, last name, email subscription yes/ no and data processing concent. It has three hidden fields office owner of the contact (owned_bulgaria), country and NewsletterSignup (used in EN for measuring how many people subscribed for email from those who signed the petition).
The page is currently private, but should go live on Thursday, 4th March, 9:00 in the morning EET, before we launch the report it tells about.
There were also 3 sub pages which also have the same form. The problem seems replicable with the addition that the questions are not clearly visible on the different design (in full-width style, with the blue background)
PROBLEM
- Data processing concent should be mandatory. When it's mandatory (1) the submit button doesn't work and (2) the checkbox for the concent disappears when submit is clicked.
If it's not mandatory, the submit button works. But then we don't have explicit concent. - The email subsription question could be skipped even if it's mandatory.
- There is a notification in the EN opt-in for email subscription. It says that if the person clicks NO this will unsubscribe them even if they clicked on a different ocasion. It should stay hidden unless NO is selected and it works well in EN. The thing is it is in JS and in P4 it stays always visible. I think this is not a bug, but I can't deal with it on my own and it could be related to the other problems. I doubt it that it's the cause, but still.
For the past day I've been testing with different colleagues and in different scenarios. We couldn't fix it. Everything else is pretty much done. I just need to add some links.
