Pre-WYSIWYG we were using Twig's date filter to format dates for this block. This was taking into account the site's locale. See for instance how dates were in GPNL:

Currently dates are not localized, but always displayed in English.

Tasks

• Investigate how we can localize dates. Maybe WP/Gutenberg offers a way.
• Implement the change or re-refine if it's turns out to be a huge amount of work.
