Description of the issue: There are spacing issues throughout the Evergreen
template in this page example.

But namely, when adding a background image the page reveals a space at the
top of the page (in addition to the space now appearing below the menu –
see PLANET-4902)

Steps to reproduce

• If you don't see this issue try resizing your browser window and refreshing the page

Tasks

• Investigate why space is shown on top and remove it
• Change code to be more robust
