See bug report PLANET-4732. This works as designed, when a user adds articles by manual override then it is not possible to select the number of posts you want to see displayed - not included. Currently when using manual override # of posts included = # of posts displayed . 

Investigate if we should allow user to hide some of the posts included and have the "Show more" button.
