Currently there is a bug related to thumbnail images displayed in different sizes in the articles block (see PLANET-2880).

The development team previously added a rule for an autoscaling to happen according to the width of the image. However when images have irregular dimensions, the autoscaling according to the width can cause a bigger gap on the height causing the thumbnail images to look of different sizes.

Tasks:

• Define which is the best approach to use.
• If the approach will be cropping the overflow (as discussed previously) then decide how will the image be cropped
• Evaluate if we should add a restriction of measurements
