Currently custom composer scripts in the planet4-base-fork repository are not being picked up and being run. This results in the following two issues:

a) non composer controlled plugins (like the searchWP) are not installed if they exist in the planet4-base-fork, but they have to be manually included and updated in each different site repository

b) Custom scripts (like the script that minifys all the child theme css) are not being run on the k8s approach

A solution must be found and applied for the above two cases, so the developers can continue managing the installation via the composer script.
