Continuing the discussion from PLANET-2182, regarding the mobile devices. Copying information:

Laura: On desktop it seems to work, on my Google Pixel it doesn't. Image sizes still jump.

Nikos: My guess is that you mean the second carousel on that page? The "jumping" effect there happens because we have an image with a caption and two that don't have any. The caption on mobile is not part of the image but it's placed right below it. So these will always have different heights. For instance one caption can be 2 rows and another 3. We could force fixed height for the entire carousel to avoid the "jumping" effect on mobile, but that means there will be an empty space for images that have shorter or none caption.
