the alt text is automatically included in the Media element (if you go to the WP media library, the alt is there) but not when you put it on the page.

Steps to reproduce (STR):

Create a new page.
Click "Add Media"
Click "GPI Media Library"
Choose an image
click Insert Media into WP
wait
click the edit button on the image
notice that the Alt text is not pre-filled.
