Sprint #29, Sprint #30, Sprint #31
Currently on the production environments, where we have load balancers, we are using the wp-login page as a health check. The LB look at the ip/wp-login.php and if it returns they consider the server working, and include it in their pool of servers.
The LB do this check very often, resulting in very high traffic in the wp-login.php .But the wp-login.php runs the whole wordpress framework, creating unecessary load (As evident by the New Relic reports).
We need to create a new php file, for health check of the servers and include it in our installation.
